MOMENT #13` ` . . . DONT YOU STAND THERE AND THEN TELL ME YOU LOVE ME THEN LEAVE AGAIN....` ` posted at 1:36 AM

Hm, its been awhile. Disappearing didnt work too much, but i did go to texas during my time out ha. it was alot of fun, i got to see ALOT of people i havent seen in awhile. it made me long for the past when things seemed so much simple. it was all about summer and going to visit my best friend, my sister, my niece and my extented fam in Laguna Niguel. Now its not so simple anymore. Summers are spent working and going to school. My niece is now 11 years old and has her own life, lol and well, krissy lives in Austin, TX and took the rest of the crew with her.

Austin, Texas. its beautiful out there. Not what i expected at ALL. its so pretty and green and city like. haha, i was thinking dirt, country and hick town (sorry, i know stereotypical of me). but yeah, even Krissy had to admit, if she had to live anywhere else in Texas, she wouldnt! so i didnt feel too bad. So anyways, Krissy and her husband Sergio took me around for the day i was able to be there, blah. wish it could of been longer. i flew in thursday evening and left saturday morning. orginally i was suppose to leave LATE saturday night, but the flight ended up being full and i had to switch my flight :/ So first stop when i got off the plane thursday evening was a movie at the Drafthouse, which is also where i realized i lost my license at LAX wtf. ANYWAYS, i must say i've never been to a place like that before, it was pretty amazing. Its a movie theater that serves you dinner too! They had the regular movie seats, but there were bars set up in front of you where the servers dropped off and picked up your food and orders. Pretty awesome if i must say so, haha. We saw Adventureland cause yeah, we like Twilight and was very curious to see Kristen Stewart in another role other than Bella :] Krissy had Adventure Dog and fries, while i pigged out on their version of the meatlovers pizza and we split a pitcher of Dr. Pepper. Mmm, just thinking about it now makes me want a slice of that pizza! That night, Krissy had just gotten a copy of Twilight in the mail, so thats how we ended our night like good ol times, curled up on our seperate couches making fun of the very thing we like haha. The next day was filled with more good food. First this lovely breakfast place, that for the life of me i cant remember the name, but wow. Wonderful way to start out the day. They make their damn french toast with texas toast! so its all nice, thick and filling. We then headed over the austin bridge and down to the mall for a little bit of shopping and just hang out time to work off our breakfast haha. I got a couple of shot glasses, a tshirt for me and my mom among a few other things. And yeah, cause we're dorks, Krissy and I got matching four leaf clover bracelets :] and i actually wear mine everyday as she does too!

The best part of the day had to be when we went to lake travis and down to the oasis. it was so beautiful. as much as im scared of heights, i couldnt help but notice the beauty. I was ready to hop in and take a swim. We walked around the gift shop there for a bit and then headed over to see the fam. Then off to dinner for my first texas bbq haha, which i must say was very tender and very good to the soul ;] The more i saw, the more i thought, hmmm, austin could be a choice place to live :] maybe when university time rolls around. maybe a year there, a year at asu? i dunno.

So, the bomb got dropped on me, and my mom has been talking to my step dad about them moving back in together. They've been seperated for.... almost 3 years now, but not really, lol. its a weird situation. ANYWAYS, so when my mom would be moving to is like almost an hour and a half away from where we are now. i was like, really? i have a year left of school before i get my AA and you wanna move my ass?! plus, i had always told myself after we moved to where we currently are that the next time I move it would be to where i want to. Soooo, it looks like as long as i get my financial situation squared away, i will be moving to Arizona next year. Well... hm, yeah. we'll see how that goes. but thats the current plan. I try not to think about it too much and just take it day by day. but it excites me because if/when i make this move, i'll finally be doing something that i've been wanting to do. i'll be on my way and i just... theres no looking back :]

So, one more thing i wanted to touch before i fold up this clothes and actually go to bed. I have been in serious Janet mode lately! I have no idea why, but wow. i woke up one morning and i was in such a shitty/sad mood. so i started web surfing, and i landed on a few janet sites and after one old school interview, i was hooked on it all day. then i took a drive down to The Huntington in San Marino on friday which is this beautiful art gallery and botanical garden (pics to come once i get my camera back from my cousin, grr lol) and it was Janet ALL the way through! So anyways, tonight i was watching her All For You special edition DVD and her song "Again" comes on. oldie but goodie, haha. love the song, i just have to be in the mood to listen to it or i'll skip past it. so im sitting here looking at some Twilight stuff, and autopilot clicks in and i start singing along until i completely realize the lyrics that im singing. and the tears started coming down. AMAZING RIGHT?! so its like, the song is EXACTLY my situation right now, 100% and tonight it just like smacked me right in the face. I love having Janet moments like that. I feel thatmuch closer to her music :]

Anyways, on to this laundry that isnt gonna fold itself, and then BED. I'll be back to dive into my adventures at the Huntington hopefully tomorrow :]
